Propaganda played a huge role in determining the power of Nazi Germany. The definition of the word means using information to influence a group of people to benifit yourself. Adolf Hitler used this tactic and reminded the Germans of their struggle against foreign legions and jewish influences. During times between 1935 and 1938, propaganda campaigns created a violent attitude against jews. This was the begining of violent acts leading to the holocaust.
Hitler had a propaganda "machine" that controled all media communication. He hired one man, Joseph Goebbels, to serve as the Minister of Propaganda. His job was to make sure no one in Germany would read any info against the Nazi party and to promote the Nazi views in the most positive way. Hitler believed that if everone thought that what the government said was true, then their enemies would be easy to find and get rid of.
